Taco Comfort Solutions’ 0018e high-efficiency circulator now features Bluetooth communication to a mobile app, providing real time control, diagnostics and reporting, such as installation history, power consumption, performance, and runtime. Installers can select between multiple constant speed, proportional pressure, and constant pressure modes as well as activeADAPT™, Taco’s self-adjusting proportional pressure mode.
The 006e3 is one of the newest models in Taco Comfort Solutions’® 00e® Series of high-efficiency, ECM-powered circulators. The company said the infinitely-variable, wet-rotor circulator is designed specifically to make installation and operation of domestic hot water recirculation systems easier and more efficient.
Bell & Gossett introduced the new ecocirc® 19-16, a variable speed ECM circulator with onboard intelligence that automatically adjusts pump performance to ensure the highest efficiency over a wide operating range.
Grundfos is expanding its line of energy-efficient ALPHA circulator pumps with the variable-speed ALPHA1, which the company says has a duty range that can replace every single-speed and 3-speed circulator in its class. The LED display ensures the ALPHA1 is delivering the optimal hydronic heating and/or hot-water recirculation flow rate at the lowest possible energy consumption.
Taco Comfort Solutions has added new features and capabilities to its large 00e VR ECM, wet rotor commercial circulator line designed for chilled and hot water applications. Available in four sizes (VR 15-3, 20-3, 25-3, and 30-3), the sensorless 00e VR line provides differential head pressures up to 42 ft and flows up to 360 GPM.
Taco Comfort Solutions says its Taco 0015e3 is the only three-setting, ECM-powered circulator on the market. With three settings, the 0015e3 replaces all three-speed hydronic circulators in its class. Its variable speed, high-efficiency ECM motor also uses up to 85% less electricity, according to officials.
Armstrong Fluid Technology has announced the introduction of its E.2 Pump-Less Volute (PLV) kit which is designed to upgrade, renew, or replace all working parts of all models in the E Series family of circulators. The kits are suitable for both hydronic fluid and potable water applications and include all the new features that were introduced with the second generation of the E Series.
Armstrong Fluid Technology has expanded its Astro wet-rotor circulator offering with the introduction of the Astro 2 Series. Featuring four new sizes, the company says its Astro 2 Series now offers flange-to-flange and bolt-to-bolt compatibility with 100% of competing models in terms of performance.
