Global manufacturer expects continued success in 2019, estimating its HVAC business to achieve high single-digit growth in 2019

Alea has unveiled its intelligent air management platform called Alea Air. The company said Alea Air transforms basic HVAC systems by replacing standard registers with smart vents that track and adjust temperature, monitor air quality, and sense other environmental variables. The Alea Air platform uses machine learning and predictive analytics to allocate air based on users’ room-by-room temperature preferences.
Heat Pipe Technology (HPT) is now offering a “split passive” HRM-V™ with Dynamic Seasonal Offset™. HPT says its growing line of heat pipes offers economical and reliable energy recovery from building exhaust air for preheating or precooling of ventilation air.
Bacharach is offering the MVR-300 to provide continuous refrigerant detection within occupied spaces. Typical applications include monitoring for potential leaks from high-volume HVACR systems in hotels, apartments, dormitories, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and office buildings.
