A. O. Smith launch of its Commercial Heat Pump Water Heater (CHP-120) for light commercial applications such as restaurants, schools, retail buildings or any facility which would traditionally use a standard commercial electric water heater.
Bosch Thermotechnology introduces its upgraded model in the Greensource CDi series: the Bosch SM Rev C Geothermal Heat Pump, featuring the new Heat Pump Control (HPC) microprocessor, which can communicate with the new Bosch EasyStart app. According to Bosch officials, the SM model is redesigned with an intuitive user interface and advanced electronics controls to make it easier for contractors to communicate with the unit.
Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) introduced the Nexus™ Modular Hybrid Cooler, a plug-and-play, modular, hybrid fluid cooling system. Company reps said the units are up to 8 feet shorter in height, have a 40% smaller footprint, and are 35% lighter than traditional fluid coolers.
Vertiv introduced the Liebert DSE Optimization, an enhanced version of the water-free Liebert DSE data center cooling system. The company says the new version increases the system’s efficiency by up to 50 percent.
Danfoss introduced Connecto NA, a new and improved line of connection kits for Danfoss self-regulating heating cables. Designed for use with both Danfoss RX-C Roof and Gutter De-icing Cables and PX Pipe Freeze Protection Cables, Danfoss Connecto kits aim to provide reliable and safe installation of electric heating cables.
Navien introduced its new NFC series stainless steel fire tube combi-boilers available in two sizes: NFC-175 (175,000 Btuh) and NFC-200 (199,900 Btuh). The company says the combi-boilers provide enough heating input for up to a 3,500-square-foot home and continuous domestic hot water supply for up to three bathrooms. Ideal applications include retrofits and new installations in single-family homes, multifamily houses, and light commercial buildings.
Weil-McLain introduced its new Aqua Pro™ indirect-fired water heaters featuring a nonmetallic, corrosion-resistant design. The company says the advanced line of water heaters are built to handle even the harshest water conditions.
Armstrong Fluid Technology announced that its Design Envelope (DE) 4380 Vertical In-Line pumps are now also available in stainless steel. Ideal for domestic water and light industrial use, the pumps are certified for safe drinking water systems to the NSF-61 and NSF-372 standards.
