The company says the motor delivers high torque, low maintenance, and potential energy savings with less overhung load than V-belts drives. The AFD adjusts motor speed based on demand to reduce energy consumption and, as a result, energy costs. Toshiba International Corp. now offers the Energy Star-certified Toshiba G9000 uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system in 1000 kVA/1000 kW capacity. The G9000 line of UPSs are true online, double-conversion UPS systems providing power at up to 97% efficiency. The company says this is the largest unit yet in the G9000 product line, and is ready to ship from the manufacturing and engineering facility in Houston.
