The Grundfos PACO-brand LCS split-coupled end suction pumps are now available for sale in the United States. According to the company, LCS is ideally suited for liquid transfer in chilled water, condenser water, pressure boosting, district heating and cooling, and air-conditioning applications. Its compact design provides hydraulic performance equal to that of a frame-mounted, long-coupled design with the added benefits of a smaller footprint. The company also says it allows for ease of service and faster installation.
Available in 30 different models, the LCS pump boasts a horsepower range up to 125 hp in 3500, 1800 or 1200 revolutions per minute.
