Danfoss has launched new models for its Turbocor® TG series for low global warming potential refrigerants. The compressors enable chiller manufacturers to build climate friendly and sustainable solutions that support refrigerant regulations for reducing the direct and indirect CO2 emissions such as the European F-Gas Regulation and the US Environmental Protection Agency’s SNAP regulations.
Schaffner EMC introduces the ECOsine® Active 3420, a harmonic filter which provides harmonic compensation in real-time for industrial and commercial environments. With a capacity of 30 to 300A, operating at 200-480VAC (+/- 10%), the connection-ready 3420 (3-wire) cabinet models include forced air cooling and internal liquid cooling (200-300A), for the power electronics.
Delta Controls has debuted the eZNTW, an advanced BACnet thermostat that expands the company’s enteliZONE thermostat product line. The company says its eZNTW boasts unique communications capabilities, such as onboard WiFi to make it IoT-ready and enOcean® wireless capabilities for HVAC controls and in-room integration with a variety of peripheral products, such as lighting, blinds, and door contact. The eZNTW also features a wide-range of sensing applications, from basic temperature monitoring to indoor air quality and occupancy sensing.
Danfoss has introduced the new Danfoss Turbocor® TT700 compressor — expanding to a larger capacity its existing range of Turbocor® TT series compressors. Designed for water-cooled chiller applications, the new TT700 compressors are oil-free, variable-speed, magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors that provide full- and part-load energy efficiency. The company claims the compressors also feature a small footprint, are light weight, and offer low vibration, very low sound, intelligent controls, and soft starting characteristics.

RAE Coils announces the launch of its new Insulated Coil Boxes, designed for applications where maintaining different room temperatures is necessary. Unlike traditional HVAC systems, where temperature is controlled on an equipment level, the RAE Coils Insulated Coil Boxes are capable of controlling temperatures on a per-room basis. This equipment is ideally designed for use in pharmaceutical processing, food storage, healthcare, and high-rise building applications.
Lochinvar is introducing an addition to its Power-Fin line with the Power-Fin High Efficiency Commercial Boiler. This product expansion of the original line, which launched in 1986 and just celebrated its 30th anniversary, now offers an input capacity from 2.5 to 5 million Btuh, more than doubling its previous capacity. The enhanced performance comes from a heat exchanger that features a double row of swept fins that delivers more than twice the output of the original model.
Johnson Controls has extended its TempMaster® line to include OmniElite™ single package rooftop units. Available in 50- to 65-ton cooling capacities, the company says its new units offer a footprint up to 20%smaller than competing units, double-wall construction, single-point power connection and efficiency ratings that exceed ASHRAE 90.1 standards.
