The company says its HS8A, 1⁄2-in. port solenoid valve has a stronger spring and a new Teflon piston ring to prevent sticking. The durable, ductile, iron valve body has improved, erosion-resistant seat and flow passages, it says. According to the manufacturer, these advancements and other features permit the HS8A to effectively combat the harsh conditions of modern industrial refrigeration systems, including outdoor installations.
