A new Buran® Series of compact refrigerated air dryers are now available, designed for decentralized applications. The new range, said the manufacturer, uses R-134a. Equipped with pre- and after-filters, the dryers will ensure air quality to sensitive applications such as lasers, CMMs, and control air at the point-of-use, rather than relying on a centralized purification system, it said.
