The new VAHU units feature a number of upgrades, most notably four-way installation capabilities. With four-way installation, the new LG VAHUs can be installed vertically, horizontally from the left and right, or inverted with a down flow conversion kit.

The new EconomizerPro™ HVAC Monitoring Systems can record data from commercial rooftop units to find out if they are wasting energy. The system is simply added on to the unit. According to the manufacturer, it then uploads operational data to the cloud, where data is analyzed by sophisticated algorithms, identifying about $3,000 per year, per unit in wasted energy.
Coolerado claims its new ERV applies HMX performance to create a powerful and efficient energy recovery ventilation. Officials said Coolerado’s ERV supplies ASHRAE Standard 62.1 ventilation rates while dramatically reducing energy consumption. The ERV can be installed separately or in series with a roof top unit (RTU).
