Emerson and Modius have partnered to provide an IoT solution that integrates Emerson’s Therm-O-Disc (T-O-D) WirelessHART™ industrial grade sensors with the Modius real-time infrastructure monitoring suite, OpenData, for environmental monitoring and management.
Larson Electronics has released the 15 KVA power distribution panel system that converts three-phase 480 volts AC to single-phase 120 volts AC. The MGS-15KVA-120X8O-2X208Y power distribution system is designed to provide a safe and effective way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit is designed to operate with 480 VAC which then steps down to 120 VAC single phase and 208Y three phase.
Dayton Lamina™ hydraulic motors feature a design that allows four-times the torque to be produced at a quarter of the speed without gear reducers. According to the manufacturer, with torque ratings comparable to larger motors, they save size, weight, and cost over larger similarly rated motors.
Krueger-HVAC now offers five different models of blower coils that are divided into three different groups: Standard, Small Footprint, and Modular. The new models include KBH (standard, horizontal blower coil), KBV (standard, vertical blower coil), KSB (small footprint, vertical blower coil with rear return), KSL (small footprint, vertical blower coil with bottom return), and KBM (modular blower coil).
According to Johnson Controls, its York LX Series packaged units set a higher standard to heat and cool residential and light commercial buildings, featuring a contractor-friendly design, reliable technology, and an advanced manufacturing process. The units are 29% more efficient, earning a 14 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) rating and exceeding U.S. Department of Energy efficiency standards.
The Drives & Motion Division of Yaskawa America, Inc. has released three new motion control products. Each of the new devices is designed to improve the performance of automation systems, and to compound the improvement in system effectiveness when used in combination.
Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) says its new HemiPleat® Synthetic dust collector filter combines a high-efficiency synthetic media with proprietary open-pleat technology for excellent performance and long life in harsh, humid environments. The washable media is resistant to moisture and can handle heavy dust loading conditions and/or hygroscopic or sticky dusts generated in food, pharmaceutical, and many other processes.
KMC Controls has announced the upcoming release of its new KMC Conquest™ BACnet® Router. The router is a key component of KMC's new Conquest line of BACnet direct digital controllers and appliances designed to connect building automation systems to the Internet of Things (IoT). The new suite of products provide system integrators and building owners with open, scalable, secure building automation solutions from a single building to enterprise-level installations.
E+E Elektroniks has expanded its product range with various sensors for passive temperature measurement for HVAC and building technology. The compact enclosure with protection class IP65/NEMA 4 facilitates allows for easy and fast installation of the sensors, according to the company. Due to external mounting holes the sensors can be installed with closed housing, which protects the device from building site contamination. The new temperature sensors line matches the design of the E+E humidity, CO2, and air velocity sensors.
