Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR), has released its Big Blue™ Commercial touch screen and Blue™ Commercial thermostats. These universal thermostats control single-stage, multi-stage and heat pump systems with up to four stages of heat and two stages of cool.  The Emerson® Big Blue Commercial thermostat features a 12-square-inch touch screen display, while the Emerson Blue Commercial thermostat features a six–square-inch display.

The Emerson Blue Commercial thermostats can be dedicated programmable or non-programmable and can be either battery powered with power stealing assist or hardwired. These thermostats also offer the standard, industry-recognized Emerson Blue thermostat features, including a limited temperature range for energy savings, backlit displays, exclusive Cool Savings™ features to save energy during peak A/C demand periods and an automatic daylight savings option.

The Emerson Blue Commercial thermostats also offer the following unique features:

- Pre-occupancy purge and/or programmable fan
- Economizer/damper control output
- Remote sensing indoor and at the thermostat
- Keypad lockout – total or partial
