Belimo Americas has released an advanced butterfly valve designed specifically for the HVAC industry. The company says its newly designed butterfly valve and PR actuator assembly was developed with a focus on ease of installation, application flexibility, and longevity.
The new non-spring return PR series actuator with on/off, floating point control is now available for Belimo’s HD series 2-way and 3-way butterfly valves sizes 4-in to -6-in, and the new “L” models 8-in and 10-in. The advanced butterfly valve with the PR actuator is replacing Belimo’s current SY actuator offering from sizes 4-in through 10-in. Customer Service and Technical Support will help facilitate the accurate change over from SY to PR actuators to fit application needs.
The new butterfly valve assembly offers many benefits, including patent-pending, self-adjusting end stop logic to ensure zero leakage at 200 psi close-off. Also, set-up and diagnostics is simplified with built-in BACnet and Near Field Communication built-in.
