Mestek, Inc. has hired Timothy A. McNeill as an application engineering manager for the company. He will be working with the Mestek Boiler Group and Sterling HVAC in both pre-sales and post-sales application support. With over 20 years of experience in consulting engineering, and seven years of experience in sales engineering, company officials said McNeill offers strong expertise in building system design and will be a welcome addition to the Mestek team.

Prior to joining Mestek, McNeill owned a sales and marketing firm which consulted with HVAC representatives to improve their market share. Products that McNeill worked with include temperature control systems, VFDs, gas detection products, as well as other HVAC related products. He also has experience in the engineering consulting field, working on high profile projects throughout Connecticut.

McNeill holds an associate degree in mechanical engineering from MVCC located in Utica, NY, as well as an advanced certificate in HVAC design from NYU. He is an active member of the Connecticut chapter of ASHRAE, serving on the board of governors. In his spare time, McNeill coaches college hockey at a local university.
