The WSG30™ system from Sensaphone® provides 24/7 remote monitoring of HVAC units, refrigerators, and freezers. It is ideal for locations where hard-wiring sensors are difficult or cost prohibitive. The WSG30 system is a web-based monitoring system that uses wireless sensors to detect problems such as temperature changes (from -109°F to 115°F), humidity fluctuations, water leaks, and power outages. A single WSG30 unit can support up to 30 wireless sensors.
The new EconomizerPro™ HVAC Monitoring Systems can record data from commercial rooftop units to find out if they are wasting energy. The system is simply added on to the unit. According to the manufacturer, it then uploads operational data to the cloud, where data is analyzed by sophisticated algorithms, identifying about $3,000 per year, per unit in wasted energy.
Coolerado claims its new ERV applies HMX performance to create a powerful and efficient energy recovery ventilation. Officials said Coolerado’s ERV supplies ASHRAE Standard 62.1 ventilation rates while dramatically reducing energy consumption. The ERV can be installed separately or in series with a roof top unit (RTU).
RectorSeal Corp. has developed Actabs® DMSS, a micro-biocide and dissolving treatment for contaminated solids designed specifically for maintaining clean condensate pans and drain line orifices in ductless and mini-split system (DMSS) air conditioning units.
Coolerado has launched its M50 Downflow air conditioning unit delivering an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) above 40 when used as stand-alone and above 21 when working in concert with DX Roof Top Units (RTU). The company claims the M50 Downflow line was designed for easy installation on commercial roof curbs.
