SPX Cooling Technologies has announced additions to the Cube™ Evaporative Condenser product line. An ideal option for industrial refrigeration applications that require safe design, installation, and operation with ammonia and other refrigerants, Cube Evaporative Condensers are available in both forced draft/blow through (BTC) and induced draft/draw through (DTC) models. New DTC models are now available in 8.5-ft nominal widths.
The Sensaphone® Airflow Sensor measures the rate of airflow and alerts data center managers when conditions fall outside the ideal range. The sensor monitors the presence or absence of cool moving air and provides relative airflow as a percentage from 0 to 100.
Webster Combustion Technology LLC has introduced the model JBE(X). The manufacturer claims the product is designed specifically to deliver total energy savings from reductions in both fuel and electricity. Company officials said the manufacturer is the first commercial boiler burner manufacturer to introduce a high efficiency, low excess air burner to improve boiler combustion efficiency.
RAE Coils announced that it is manufacturing replacement and OEM evaporative condensing tube bundles. The tube bundles are a critical component of the highly efficient condensing units originally manufactured by Mammoth’s Ultraline and Penthouse brands. When compared with air cooled technology, the company says this product can result in a reduction of up to 35% in annual operating costs.
CoolIT Systems Inc. has expanded its Rack DCLC™ product line with the release of the new CHx80 Heat Exchange Module (CHx80). This next generation liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger provides cooling capacity with N+1 reliability to manage challenging, high density HPC racks.
Honeywell announced a new release of its building management system, Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI). According to the company, EBI R500 leverages the connectivity of today’s buildings to help make them strategic assets to organizations.
Johnson Controls has extended its TempMaster® line to include OmniElite™ single package rooftop units. Available in 50- to 65-ton cooling capacities, the company says its new units offer a footprint up to 20%smaller than competing units, double-wall construction, single-point power connection and efficiency ratings that exceed ASHRAE 90.1 standards.
SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc. has introduced the Recold Vector™ Adiabatic Cooling System, for halocarbon refrigerant condensing or CO2 gas cooling applications in supermarket refrigeration systems. According to the company, the Recold Vector provides lower energy usage and a smaller footprint than an air-cooled condenser and up to 60% or more reduction in site water usage compared to an evaporative condenser. Designed as a once-through system, the Recold Vector Adiabatic Cooling System minimizes water treatment requirements.
Greenheck says its new FumeJet pre-engineered, centrifugal fume exhaust packaged models offer extended discharge to reduce and prevent exposure to harmful fumes and odors outdoors. Designed per ANSI Z9.2 standard for local exhaust systems, Models FJC and FJI aim to provide a compact footprint with motors and drives located under a common weatherhood.
