Carrier has released the second size range of its WeatherExpert™ Series, the company’s highest efficiency commercial rooftops. Models are available from 6- to 23-tons; adding to a current model line-up that includes 3- to 5-ton units. The WeatherExpert line has Integrated Energy Efficiency Ratio ratings up to 21.0. This exceeds the Consortium of Energy Efficiency tier II performance criteria, which many utilities use for rebates.

Camfil Air Pollution Control has released its new line of HemiPleat® eXtreme nano fiber filters. System Sensor announced that its FAAST Fire Alarm Aspiration Sensing Technology® now comes equipped with direct ModBus connectivity. According to the company, FAAST’s built-in ModBus protocol enables seamless communication with building management systems without any additional hardware or software, making bidding, system design, and installation easier.
ABB has released information in its Vortex (FV4000) and Swirl (FS4000) flowmeters for measuring flow rates of liquid, gas, and steam. The company claims that both flowmeter types offer high accuracy and wide rangeability, as well as an integrated temperature sensor for mass flow measurement of saturated steam.
Seresco USA Inc. has expanded its Protocol NP-Series line of indoor swimming pool dehumidifiers to accommodate sizes of 90- to 140-ton units. A recent 25% capacity expansion to Seresco’s Ottawa, Ontario-based manufacturing factory helped facilitate an additional production line and satisfy a 40% increased demand for the newly-cataloged item.

Trane has introduced the newest addition to its air-cooled chiller product portfolio, the Trane Stealth™ air-cooled chiller.
