The company's Haloguard® III is a multi-channel, multi-gas system designed to continuously monitor R11, 12, 22, 134a, 123, and other refrigerants commonly used in air conditioning systems, machinery rooms, process cooling, and refrigerant storage areas. The all solid-state electronic unit is used for detecting the presence of halocarbon refrigerants and oxygen depletion. Up to two additional, remote separate IR modules may be located up to 1,000 ft from the central controller, it says. The user may adjust min/max alarm levels independent for each sensor.
