The company says it has developed an assembly system of frames, blades, and corners for the fabrication of volume dampers. The additional components compliment the company’s pre-existing Side Glide rail and bracket system, it says. The frames, manufactured from extruded aluminum, consist of two distinct parts: a side and a top/bottom piece with a built-in blade stop. The blades, also manufactured from extruded aluminum, are 6-in. wide with preformed “V” bends for easy installation of bearing pins and secure closure between blades. The “hammer in” corners insert easily and are self-locking, says the company.
