Women in Engineering Engineering Programs & Advocates Network
Thanks to a major new grant, Women in Engineering Programs & Advocates Network (WEPAN) (Ann Arbor, MI) will be developing a range of new support programs for students and schools in the GE Fund's Faculty for the Future initiative. Initial components include a resume database and an Internet site to be launched in February 2002.
"These activities provide a perfect application of technology to accelerate our progress on the representation of women and minorities in the technical professions, " said Susan Staffin Metz, WEPAN president. "Through this work, WEPAN builds on its track record in creating innovative means to advance this goal."
