Sensor Evaluation Honeywell announced a new method for customers to test the capabilities of its sensors, which the company says allows for faster and more efficient component decisions and a speedier product development process. With the new sensor evaluation kits, engineers can perform a thorough evaluation of Honeywell’s TruStability™ pressure sensor series without needing to develop additional software code or spin a new printed circuit board. The kits aim for easier demonstrating and evaluating Honeywell’s TruStability RSC series as well as the digital output versions of the HSC series and SSC series board mount pressure sensors.
Extech Instruments launched the SDL700 Pressure Meter and Datalogger. The new handheld meter is designed to measure and monitor pressure conditions in HVAC systems as well as in process control and compressor control systems in industrial settings. The company says the new meter offers users a rugged design with flexible programming configurations and the convenience of datalogging readings in Excel format directly onto an SD card.

Fujitsu launched a new Wi-Fi solution for its Airstage line. This Wi-Fi tool allows installers to operate a Fujitsu Airstage VRF system from anywhere with a smartphone, laptop, or tablet. Fujitsu’s Airstage VRF systems are controlled from a webpage or by using an iOS or Android App. A cloud server manages the entire process. Many HVAC functions can be remotely operated. These include: on/off, mode (heating, cooling, dry, auto, air circulation), change or set temperature, and set schedules and timers.

The EME3625DFL wind-driven rain-resistant stationary louver from Ruskin® is a 3-in louver with Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) 540 impact resistance.
