Regal Beloit Corporation has integrated its Genteq® electronically commutated motor products for the refrigeration industry to consolidate product offerings for its customers. Regal’s commercial refrigeration motors include the recently launched GlacAir® air-flow solution, which utilizes an axial flux ECM design for higher-efficiency commercial refrigeration applications such as display cases and reach-in coolers. The motor and fan aims to offer customers a compact through an approximate 1-inch reduction in the motor profile, allowing for flexibility with motor placement. Additional product offerings include the ARKTIC® 59 and ICE® 59 ECMs designed for use in the evaporator of large commercial refrigeration walk-in coolers and freezers. The ARKTIC 59 motor offers high efficiency and dependability with output ratings up to 50 watts, while the ICE 59 motor offers output ratings up to 74.6 watts.
