Matco-Norca now offers a UL Listed CVC Ductile Iron Wafer Style Check Valve for use in commercial and industrial HVAC applications in order to prevent reverse flow in water lines. Available in three sizes (4 in, 6in, and 8-in), Matco-Norca’s CVC Check Valve has a working temperature range of 14ºF to 179ºF at 175 PSI. In addition to its wafer style cast iron body, it features a spring loaded double disc for improved dynamic operation, and is fusion bonded epoxy coated to conform to AWWA C550. The company said the valve’s extremely short face and compact design allows installation and service in tight spaces, and its spring-loaded double disc is soft-seated for perfect tightness even at low-differential pressure.
