Bell & Gossett’s Little Red Schoolhouse in Morton Grove, IL is offering two seminars on water-based HVAC systems.

“Design & Application of Water Based HVAC Systems” will be offered June 5-7. Topics of the session include employing pump selection principles, using the System Syzer in advanced calculations, and identifying the importance of control valve sizing in hydronic systems design. Students will also learn the importance of proportional balance and compute flow requirements in primary-secondary systems for energy savings

This seminar is approved by GBCI to provide credit toward the credential maintenance requirements of the LEED Green Associate and LEED AP certifications.

From June 19-21, Bell & Gossett will offer “Service & Maintenance of Water Based HVAC Systems.” This seminar will discuss the major limits on seal performance and help students recognize the need for correct piping at the pump. Students will also measure and apply pump gauge readings to solve typical system problems and recognize the need for routine pump service procedures.
