Kohler Power Systems has launched its redesigned and expanded Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) product line, designed and manufactured in-house to work with the company’s full range of backup power solutions. The company offers gas-powered units from 25 kW to 400 kW and diesel-powered units from 10 kW to 3,250 kW. To meet the wide variety of demands for the applications its generators are used in, such as data centers, healthcare, water and waste water treatment, the company has created a new line of ATS product offerings flexible enough to meet these demands.
Wilo USA has introduced its new Stainless Steel Closed Coupled (BLZ) centrifugal pumps. The pumps are base-mounted featuring end suction-centerline discharge design, compact design, a foot-mounted volute, and permanently lubricated ball bearings. BLZ series pumps, which are suitable and approved for pumping clean, potable water, are easy to install, operate, and service, according to Wilo reps.
Fulton Companies has expanded its condensing hydronic boiler offering. The Endura™ boiler is now available in 750,000 (EDR-750) and 1 million (EDR-1000) Btuh model sizes. Released in 2013, Fulton previously offered the Endura in 1.5 million (EDR-1500) and 2 million (EDR-2000) Btuh sizes.
Aquatherm’s polypropylene-random (PP-R) piping systems now feature a new PEX compression adapter made of PP-R and lead-free brass. This adapter allows installers to easily transition between Aquatherm and PEX in potable water and radiant systems. Aquatherm’s new PEX adapter is entirely zero-lead and manufactured to ASTM F1960. A new male-end design allows installers to fuse directly into fusion outlets, making it quicker and easier to install, according to Aquatherm reps. The PEX adapter is available in .50-in., .75-in., and 1-in. diameters.
Johnson Controls released a new series of pneumatic-to-digital thermostats, the WT-4000. The WT-4000 series converts older pneumatic room control systems and enables communication with newer digital building automation systems.
Greenheck’s new ceiling exhaust fan Models SP-80 and SP-110 feature energy efficient EC motor technology. According to the company, they have been designed for nearly silent operation. An adjustable low-cfm setting allows precise adjustment to prevent over-ventilating and maximize efficiency, while an adjustable time delay sets how long the fan will run on high speed before returning to a continuous lower speed.
Flomatic Corp. introduced its new Model 80DICL-VFD, a special patent-pending submersible pump check valve for use with VFD control submersible pumps. According to the company, standard check valves will “chatter” and be noisy when a VFD goes to low flow, causing premature wear and eventual failure.
Bosch Thermotechnology has expanded its Buderus brand GB162 gas condensing boiler offering. The company claims by combining condensing and cascade technologies together in one compact design provides ultra-high performance efficiencies (up to 93% AFUE) with the ability to fit multiple boiler units into tight spaces.

Coolerado has launched its M50 Downflow air conditioning unit delivering an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) above 40 when used as stand-alone and above 21 when working in concert with DX Roof Top Units (RTU). The company claims the M50 Downflow line was designed for easy installation on commercial roof curbs.
