The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and the Construction Owners Association of America (COAA) together are providing an innovative and dynamic conference on health care project delivery in Houston December 9-11. DBIA and COAA have developed an unbiased conference program that allows balanced decision-making by owners and provides valuable information for all players in the design and construction industry.

In his opening keynote address, nationally renowned expert Dr. David Katz of the Health Advisory Board will explore alternative visions for the future acute care hospital, investigating innovative designs, technologies, and models for providing inpatient and outpatient services. He will also address key issues, including campus planning, future capacity needs, energy efficiency, evidence-based design, and clinical information management.

Ten sessions in two educational tracks will focus on managing risk and pairing innovation with design-build. And visits to cutting edge health care facilities include area facilities.
