The company says the thermostat provides improved aesthetics and enhanced efficiency for variable-speed air conditioners and heat pumps. The Ion thermostat also provides users with a smartphone-inspired control that offers remote access, seamless programming, and over-the-air software. The system control also offers a practical solution for drain pan overflow switches and utility load shed relays. It features bypass-less (no bypass damper) zoning for California Title 24 compatibility.
