The new UV-C Fixture Installation Kit from UV Resources provides extruded aluminum vertical supports designed to speed installation of ultraviolet germicidal lamps in HVACR systems. Besides the framing supports, the kit includes everything needed to install UV lamp fixtures in an air handler plenum, including lamp holder bracket, ceiling gusset, self-tapping screws, and hardware and leveling feet. For added installation flexibility, the two ~60-in vertical supports can be “spliced” together to expand to accommodate plenums up to ~120 in tall or cut for smaller applications. The installation kit can support multiple UV-C fixtures.
