Danfoss will showcase its latest multifunction control valve innovations at the very first Global Cold Chain Expo.

The inaugural Global Cold Chain Expo, June 20-26, at McCormick Place in Chicago will serve as a one-stop-shop for all cold chain needs with 25,000 sq ft of trade show space featuring hundreds of exhibitors from every sector of the cold chain. More than 15,000 key decision-makers from retail, food service, processing, production, distribution, logistics, and transportation firms are expected to be on hand for the event.

At booth 1324, Danfoss will showcase its new ICF Flexline™ valve types: a DN 50 (2-in) valve with four modules and a DN 65 (2.5-in) valve with three modules. With their compact dimensions and minimum number of welds, the company says the new and larger ICF valves allow for faster and easier system design and installation and significantly reduced service and operation costs.

Danfoss will also feature a new control valve with flanges — the ICV (H)A4A. The valve’s modular design aims to extend the lifetime of any existing refrigeration installation while delivering reductions in cost, energy, and service and maintenance times.

Additionally, Danfoss’ Terry Chapp will lead an educational session on Monday, June 20 from 2:00 pm to 2:55 p.m. at the Hilton Palmer House, entitled “Analysis of Low Charge Ammonia Systems.”
