Titus HVAC has hired Ken Loudermilk, P.E., as senior chief engineer of marketing and sales for chilled beam and underfloor distribution products. According to Titus, Loudermilk is one of the country’s foremost experts on and earliest proponents of chilled beams. He will help consulting engineers and architects specify equipment for their projects. Loudermilk specializes in educational, healthcare, and LEED facilities.

With more than 35 years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry, Loudermilk will bring his proficiency of the market to increase collaboration and productivity throughout a project’s timeline. His new role at Titus stems partially from action he took nearly a decade ago, which entailed developing relationships with engineers across the country to educate them on the viability of chilled beams. Loudermilk also previously worked for Titus for six years as a product manager.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Ken back at Titus in this new role,” said Keith Glasch, vice president of sales and marketing at Titus. “His extensive industry knowledge and expertise gives our company a critical competitive advantage, especially with chilled beam and underfloor equipment receiving increased interest from specifiers and architects.”

Loudermilk is a member of a number of professional organizations and has held numerous leadership positions, including chairman of ASHRAE Technical Committee 5.3. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Arkansas; a master’s degree in environmental science from the University of Texas-Dallas; and an MBA from Mercer University.
