New focus on leadership training, business etiquette, and networking 2008 lineup boasts diversified convenient and affordable course offerings.

The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) announced the launch of a new educational Webinar series focusing on leadership training and business growth. Expanding upon its traditional educational Webinars, CSI developed a series intended to reach chapter leaders, company executives and professionals seeking to hone their business and communication skills.

"We're pleased to offer a variety of new educational Webinars that feature new series, topics and speakers that reach industry leaders" said Peggy Kearney, director of CSI's Professional Development Department.  "Our staff has worked hard to reorganize and refresh our educational offerings so that our members and partners can remain on the cutting edge of an evolving industry."

CSI Webinars are 90-minute interactive telephone/Internet sessions that connect participants with an expert instructor, access to materials and the opportunity to ask questions in real-time. CSI's new Webinar series began in April, with topics ranging from communications 2.0 to leadership lessons and building your brand.

Additionally, CSI will continue to offer and expand its traditional course offerings, which cover areas such as sustainable design, architectural hardware, and effectively submitting proposals. Many of these programs qualify for CSI's Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) and the American Institute of Architects Learning Units (LUs). Participants can customize their CEUs to meet unique career goals or to learn about new aspects of the trade.

Companies can also use CSI Webinars as an opportunity to train their entire team with a single registration fee. Registration details and a complete listing and description of CSI's upcoming Webinars can be found atwww.csinet.org/webinar
