The new website includes the Members-Only Contractor's Guide to LEED, which explains the impact of LEED-NC credits for mechanical, service, and plumbing contractors.

The Mechanical Contractor’s Association of America (MCAA) launched a new website, atwww.greencontractors.us,  to provide members with the resources that can help them become industry leaders in green and sustainable construction and service.

The new website includes the Members-Only Contractor's Guide to LEED, which explains the impact of LEED-NC credits for mechanical, service, and plumbing contractors. For each element of the LEED for NEW Construction rating system, the role of contractors in obtaining these credits is identified, and each element can be downloaded.

Additional plans are underway to showcase MCAA members' green projects, Manufacturer/Supplier Council members' green products, a Wikipedia, and a blog.
