The new online career board offers employers and career seekers an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections.

The Design-Build Institute of America announced the launch of its newly developed and interactive career board, the DBIA CareerSpot (http://careerspot.dbia.org/).

As the center of expertise in D-B project delivery, DBIA is uniquely positioned to connect employers and career seekers who share an interest, passion and commitment to integrated project delivery and the design and construction industry. The new online career board offers employers and career seekers an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections.

"We're very excited about the new DBIA CareerSpot, because we know how critical it is for employers in the design and construction industry to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources," said Lee Evey - president/CEO of DBIA. "And finding the right people is even more important for employers who have embraced integrated project delivery because it's the "people" that will determine your success. DBIA is committed to helping enable smooth transitions for both employers and job seekers..."

Both members and non-members can use the new DBIA CareerSpot to reach qualified candidates. Employers can post careers online, search for qualified candidates based on specific career criteria, and create an online resume agent to email qualified candidates daily. They also benefit from online reporting that provides career activity statistics.

For career seekers, the new DBIA CareerSpot is a free service. In addition to posting their resumes, career seekers can browse and view available careers based on their criteria and save those careers for later review if they choose. Career seekers can also create a search agent to provide email notifications of careers that match their criteria.
