This year, more attendees than ever before convened in Chicago to discuss and learn about new trends, technological advancements, and best practices for building commissioning.

The National Conference on Building Commissioning celebrated its 15th anniversary with a successful conference. This year, more attendees than ever before convened in Chicago to discuss and learn about new trends, technological advancements, and best practices for building commissioning. Almost 450 professionals from the commercial building and energy industries attended, from all corners of the United States as well as Canada, Finland, Japan, Taiwan and the U.K.

Generous support from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation, ComEd, and the City of Chicago allowed conference attendees to enjoy four days in one of the nation's greenest cities. This was the second time in five years that ComEd and the City of Chicago hosted the conference.

Special thanks must also be extended to all of the organizations that sponsored this year's NCBC. Their contributions enabled the conference to continue its mission to establish commissioning as standard practice in the commercial building industry.

Next year's conference will be sponsored by Southern California Edison Company. Further information on the 16th National Conference on Building Commissioning, including location, call for abstracts, and conference dates, will be released later this summer.
