The LTV low-temperature valve is designed to protect non-condensing boilers from the effects of condensation in low-temperature applications. The unit is a self-contained automatic thermostatic, three-way valve that ensures temperatures entering the boiler remain above 130°F. The LTV modulates to maintain 140° as a minimum return temperature to the boiler in order to prevent low return water temperatures in systems such as water source heat pump systems, in-floor radiant systems, and greenhouse heating.
