Liebert Corporation recently released a survey of information technology professionals, which indicates that computer and network availability requirements are rising. Of the more than 500 respondents to the Liebert Availability Survey, 55% said computer availability requirements have increased over the last two years, while an additional 26% indicated that availability requirements are already at 100%. The survey group included randomly selected professionals from a variety of industries and government agencies who have responsibility for evaluating, specifying or purchasing systems that impact computer and network availability. Complete results of the survey are included in the 2004 Liebert Availability Report, which is available at www.liebert.com.
