US Drives, Inc.: ac drive
September 12, 2000
The Phoenix clean power ac drive is available from 20 to 1,000 hp at 208, 240, 380, 415, 480, and 600 vac. It uses 18-pulse rectification techniques to minimize both the voltage and current harmonic distortion on the ac power line, says the company. These drives are meant to meet the requirements of IEEE 519-1992 without the use of any additional external filters, line reactors, or drive isolation transformers.
