The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Foundation is accepting contributions to be donated directly to support people affected by the tragedy in New York.

Funds are being raised by BOMA local associations, affiliates, and their members in the United States and internationally. All contributions should be made to the Commercial Real Estate Education and Research Foundation or the CREER Foundation.

Contributions should be sent to: BOMA International, The CREER Foundation, Attn: Ann Coslett, 1201 New York Ave., NW, Suite 300, Washington, D.C. 20005.

"We have received numerous calls and request from many of our members wanting to assist and provide support to our family members in New York," said BOMA President Sherwood Johnston, III. "Through our efforts BOMA's foundation will provide direct assistance to those that are in need," Johnston continued.

All funds that are collected will be used solely to aid people directly affected by these tragedies. All gifts will be tax deductible under the BOMA Foundation's 501(c)3 tax status (Tax ID # 52-1905266).
