ASHRAE has commissioned postage stamps honoring famous names connected to the HVACR industry, such as Clarence Birdseye, Willis Carrier, Mary Pennington, and Gardner Voorhees. U.S. postage stamps bearing the likenesses of these four industry pioneers have been created as part of the society's celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of The American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE).
