Ziehl-Abegg has added a new motor size to its line of motors, allowing the company to offer a new fan that is quieter, more efficient, with improved aerodynamics. This completion of its product range of energy-saving EC motors accompanies the introduction of new impellers. According to the company, the combination of impeller and EC motor reduces noise and power consumption compared to the current market standard. With the EC055 motor size, Ziehl-Abegg says it can now apply its expertise in the construction of efficient electric motors in this application area. The small EC fans are also used for heat pumps for water heating, in electronic cooling and in refrigeration.
