York International Corporationrecently outlined innovative technologies that could help the food and beverage industry move toward HFC-free cooling at an alternative-refrigerant conference in Brussels, Belgium. The international conference, called "Refrigerants, Naturally," was sponsored by McDonald's Corporation, The Coca-Cola Company, and Unilever Ice Cream, and included presentations by the United Nations Environmental Program and Greenpeace. An estimated 300 environmentalists, political leaders and journalists attended the day-long conference June 22.
