The compact new Series VIP Valve Position Indicator from Proximity Controls is said to be easy to afford and quick to install. Both the sensor and the target mount directly to Namur standard actuators and can be easily adapted to others. The target mounts on top of (and surrounds) the actuator’s stem, and the indicator is configured to accept a 4-pin, quick-disconnect cable. This CE-approved indicator, environmentally protected to IP67, has solid-state components that are fully embedded in epoxy resin to prevent condensation buildup and protect against vibration and shock.
