Carmel Software'sLoadsoft™ 6.0, product was recently employed to help graduate student Amir Khidar, who was in charge of performing an engineering study on several high-profile buildings in Baghdad, Iraq that were either looted or destroyed during the current war there. Using the newly updated HVAC load calculation software several Baghdad University HVAC engineering graduate students have been able to determine the total cooling loads. The commercial and industrial HVAC load calculation software package is based upon the ASHRAE 2001 Fundamentals radiant time series algorithms.
