Connectivity and community service were the motivators behind the technology collaboration, betweenTarik Haque, an instructor of Electrical Engineering Technology at Southeastem Community College (Whiteville, NC) andEBTRON, Inc.(Loris, SC).

Haque worked with EBTRON to develop original system software for miniature web servers. The fruits of their labor will be used by Haque in his classes at SCC, while EBTRON intends to embed the Motorola 68HC908 Digital DNA TM microcontroller, together with the original software systems developed by the group, in many of their newest sensor products.
