Fanning/Howey Associates, Inc.(Celina, OH) has been notified by the National School Boards Association (NSBA) that Northville High School, Northville, MI, was unanimously chosen by the jury as a citation winner. “The architects appeared to be the vehicle that made this design possible by allowing a team of teachers, students, community members, and administrators to become involved. Main Street is the hub to many activities that occur every day within a high school. The organization of interior spaces encourages shared decision-making and stimulates critical thinking among students,” remarked the jury.

Northville High School is a 1,680-student facility housing grades 9-12. The 362,000-sq-ft high school opened in September of 2000. The Northville High School project display boards will be on exhibit from April 6-9 at the NSBA’s National Conference on Education in New Orleans.
