The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials announced that in a unanimous vote, the mayor and council members of the City of Pasadena, TX committed to adopting the majority of the Comprehensive Consensus Codes™ (C3), the only set of ANSI-approved codes that completely covers the built environment. Pasadena chose to adopt the 2003 UPC, 2003 UMC, 2003 NEC and NFPA 5000. In doing so, the city became the first in the nation to progress to the C3 set.
