NFPAannounced that Jersey County, IL, is now using NFPA 5000®, Building Construction and Safety Code® to protect people and property in that community. NFPA 5000 became effective in the county on January 1, 2005 and will serve as the basis for new residential construction requirements throughout most of Jersey County.
