The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE, Atlanta) and the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE, Cincinnati) recently announced the formation of a strategic alliance designed to leverage the power of both organizations for better member service. The joint program is aimed at encouraging members to upgrade their membership status by joining both organizations. Reduced fees for joint membership will be offered.

For nearly 50 years AFE has provided facility professionals with tools to keep its 6,000 members and 100 chapters abreast of the changing facilities marketplace. AEE is celebrating its 25th anniversary with 8,000 members and 77 chapters focusing on energy efficiency and the combined heat and power marketplace.
