Two MIT faculty, a principal staff member of MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and 13 additional alumni are among the 114 new members and 21 international members elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) on Feb. 6.

Academy membership honors those who have made outstanding contributions to engineering research, practice or education.

ASHRAE announced new members for its Hall of Fame, YEA Inspirational Leader Award, John F. James International Award, E.K. Campbell Award of Merit, F. Paul Anderson Award, the Setty Family Foundation Applied Engineering Challenge, Student Design Competition, ASHRAE Technology Awards and more.

NIBS also named two recipients of the Betty and Mort Marshall Memorial Scholarship, which was established to promote diversity in building sciences.
