Researchers around the world have been exploring different ways to fabricate identical quantum sources by “transplanting” nanostructures containing single quantum optical emitters into conventional photonic chips.
Brother Gearmotors has introduced IPMax, a line of lightweight, compact interior permanent magnet (IPM) gearmotors. The series of IPMax maximum performance gearmotors incorporate magnets embedded within the rotor as opposed to on the surface. No copper losses are experienced in the rotor and considerably less copper losses occur in stator winding. The gearmotors can operate fanless up to 1 hp and do not require encoders for sensor control. When stopped, a servo lock feature holds the motor in position.
Fujitsu General America has developed the new Halcyon circular flow ceiling cassette system. Built to replace the RCLX Large Cassette Series, the company says the new RGLX Series features circular airflow for more consistent air distribution.
The ebm-papst portfolio contains a new axial fan with double flange housing of size 1,250 mm for use in cooling towers. Extremely harsh ambient conditions with 100 percent humidity in combination with high temperatures can lead to corrosion and a high degree of wear.
Heat Transfer Products Group has added to its line-up of heavy commercial/light industrial refrigeration split-systems with the new QV-Series Condensing Units. These vertical air flow units are ideal for refrigerated warehouses, food processing facilities, as well as industrial and pharmaceutical cooling applications.
EVAPCO has developed the eco-LSWE closed circuit coolers with an ellipti-fin coil and CrossCool™ internally enhanced tubes to increase the heat transfer of the coil, in turn improving the unit’s cooling capacity. The units range in capacity from 340 to 16,987 MBH.
E2S Warning Signals has developed a SIL 2 version of its flagship BEx range of explosion proof alarm horn sounders and Xenon strobe beacons. The company says its new IECEx and ATEX certified BEx horns and are designed and tested to ensure a 99.9% reliability rate, bringing plant safety to new levels.
Greenheck has expanded its packaged rooftop ventilation line with the addition of Model RV(E)-120, a pre-engineered system featuring increased performance capabilities for larger dedicated outdoor air systems, multi-zone VAV systems, and single-zone VAV systems.
