Extech Instruments has launched new environmental meters optimized for HVACR and IAQ professionals. The series includes an airflow meter, a combination hygro-thermometer and psychrometer, and a 10-in-1 multifunction meter. The company says the new compact instruments are designed to provide quick and accurate readings on a range of environmental conditions that are essential for HVACR troubleshooting and repairs, as well as IAQ assessments to improve occupant health and comfort.

Extech Instruments launched the Extech TH30, RHT30, and RHT35 compact dataloggers. The new family of three environmental recording instruments is designed to provide HVACR professionals with easy access to real-time temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure readings as well as insights compiled from extended readings preformatted in Excel® or PDF® report formats.

Noritz has expanded its line of combination boilers with the new Noritz Residential Combination Boiler (NRCB), which the company says allows for simultaneous residential domestic hot water and space heating and performs at a 95% AFUE.

Danfoss has released its new RX1200 controller for electric de-icing applications. Designed to complement Danfoss RX de-icing cables for roof and gutter applications, the RX1200 controller helps to extend the life of an outdoor electric heating system and prevent damage and leaks. By sensing both moisture and temperature conditions, the company says the RX1200 can activate or de-activate the cables as needed, reducing energy consumption by up to 75% compared to a controller that measures temperature alone.

Fujitsu General America Inc. has expanded its Airstage™ V-II VRF equipment line of VRF heat pumps with enhanced capabilities and operational efficiencies. The latest series now includes 6-, 8-, and 10-ton condensers, helping to reduce the number of condensers in certain configurations.

SEMCO LLC introduced the NEUTON–Multiple Zone, a chilled beam pump module (CCBPM) capable of controlling active chilled beams in up to five small rooms in office buildings, hospitals, schools or other commercial buildings. The NEUTON–Multiple Zone consists of modified onboard software, combination temperature/humidity monitoring sensors, and thermostatically-controlled hydronic valves for up to five zones, and an original NEUTON CCBPM.

Munters Integrated Customer Air Handler (ICA) can now be equipped with RightDry™ technology to allow customers to select a higher efficiency dehumidifier with low-temperature reactivation sources. With the ability to integrate a desiccant dehumidifier with other air conditioning components, the company says the ICA is an energy-efficient humidity and temperature control solution available in a variety of tailor-made configurations to meet specific customer applications.
