Greenheck has expanded its Air Measuring Damper (AMD) line with the addition of the AMD-TD series of thermal dispersion-based airflow measuring dampers. The AMD-TD series combines the functionality of a highly-accurate thermal dispersion airflow station and a low-leakage control damper to control airflow volumes to a target set point.
Continental Fan Manufacturing says its new IRIS Damper is a simple solution for fast and exact measurement, balance, and control of airflow. It is ideal for supply and exhaust tracking control, individual comfort control, and any space requiring accurate airflow regulation. Applications for the IRIS damper include office buildings, pharmaceuticals, clean room environments, and laboratories.
Tate Airflow is introducing an upgrade to the existing line of SmartAire® automatic VAV dampers. The company says the new SmartAire® MZ offers four independent control zones, a simplified user interface on the unit and on screen, and greater integration with existing DCIM and BAS systems.
Sterling HVAC announced the commercialization of the Xcelon system, a rooftop make-up air unit that combines hydronic condensing boiler technology with advanced air distribution and heat recovery methods for levels of efficiency up to 98%. Conceptualized and developed by Sterling, the Xcelon’s engineering integrates hydronic technology, a new air distribution system, and an integrated control platform to produce ultra-high efficiencies.
Tate® Airflow is introducing IsoFlo™, a fully contained cabinet. The IsoFlo cabinet offers a more efficient and flexible data center design when compared to aisle containment systems, according to the company.
Rosenberg USA released a new version of its ETRI 148V Series AC axial fan featuring an aluminum body that reduces weight by nearly 20% to less than 2 lbs. The company claims its new fans outperform competitive models in airflow by 9% and life expectancy by 33% to 50%.
Tate has introduced the Tate Airflow, a new brand for data center products and services. According to the company, the Tate Airflow is comprehensive range of products that will help improve data center operation and flexibility from small scale enterprise to large scale colocation and public cloud data centers.
Bosch has introduced a new lineup of 9- and 14-gallon vacuums. The VAC090S and VAC090A 9-gallon vacuums and VAC140S and VAC140A 14-gallon vacuums are designed to increase dust extraction performance and decrease the loss of suction by offering two options of on-board filter cleaning; semi-automatic and automatic. These features are especially important in applications that require premium dust extraction such as tuckpointing, concrete surfacing, concrete drilling, cutting and chipping concrete, and collecting a diversity of dust particles in stationary workshops.
Lennox has introduced the SmartAirflow™ system, available on 3- to 5-ton high-efficiency Energence® rooftop units. This new sensor-based system is a factory installed option that measures, controls, and verifies supply and ventilation airflow. The SmartAirflow system increases supply fan power savings and can save an average of 35% of annual ventilation energy consumption, according to the company.
